After many years of not working in oils, I was fortunate enough to win a sizable merchandise award from a juried exhibition. With the money I received, I purchased some wonderful water mixable oils, and I am LOVING them. This was the second painting that I made using those oil paints. Heaven. The painting was inspired by a visit to a lake near Bryce Mountain in Virginia.
