'Bare Under There,’ by artist Gina M. Figure, Intimacy, vulnerability.
A faux ceramic blanket envelopes the protruding figures of two rolling, playful toy bears in 'Bare Under There,’ by artist Gina M. The innocence of the toy bear form along with the soft texture of the covering blanket perpetuates the illusion of safety and vulnerability. Upon closer inspection the bears are more intimate, engaging in a kiss of sorts, interrupted only by the folds of fabric between them.
