This piece features various people I found in magazines and newspapers, as I like for people to see themselves in my paintings. One notable figure in this painting is Andrea Constand, the brave woman who was the first to make her sexual assault allegations against Bill Cosby known to the public, for which Cosby was ultimately found guilty in April this year. Women like Constand are empowering other women to not be afraid to tell their stories. The narrative for women is changing, slowly but surely.
