Trisha Choi is Assistant Vice President, Patient Experience at Duke University Hospital. Her teams include Patient Visitor Relations, International and Interpreter Services, Concierge and Information Desks, Arts and Health, Volunteer Services and Decedent Care – all who serve to keep the patient and their loved ones and staff in the center of care. She joined the Duke Health team in September 2020 after relocating to North Carolina from NYC in 2019. Previously, Trisha served as System-wide Sr. Mgr. Patient Experience over Cone Health Emergency Departments in Greensboro and worked in NY for 17 years in seven roles at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. Healthcare is Trisha’s second career; the foundation of her career experience is in Public Relations and Marketing, Personal Assisting to celebrities. She holds a Masters degree in Change Leadership Organization Development Psychology from Columbia University. She has a BA in Health Education from College of Mount Saint Vincent. Trisha engages, educates, and empowers Hospital leadership: Administrators, Physician, Nurse, and front line staff towards providing the best care possible for patients, families.
